La memoria de los árboles
The beginning of a trip, a phone call and the voice of a grandmother and her grandson are the excuse for the beginning of a personal story, where Rafael returns home to talk with his maternal grandmother Maria del Carmen with whom he grew up. She talks about her life, while he records his daily life in his apartment in Bogotá.
Through intimate recordings and scenes, the author unveils himself and his close relationship with his grandmother, while emphasizing how violence and abandonment return cyclically to the life of women in his family, to finally relate them to the question of paternity.
